Her website, The AWEnesty of Autism is filled with honest accounts of everyday life raising her son with autism, as well as tips to help other parents in similar situations.

It’s always such an honor anytime AWEnesty makes one of these top autism blog lists, but when I was contacted by an educator in England who told me they wanted to include AWEnesty on their site which is specifically for teachers, it felt really humbling.

When you hear the words, "Your child has an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASD)", not only are you devastated that all the hopes and dreams you once held for your child may have now disappeared, you are also left with an overwhelming feeling of "Now what?". Over the last year, our community has grown from a handful of friends to more than 300,000 people. We have met some incredible people developing this community, such as the writers behind such great blogs as Family Life and Autism, The AWEnesty of Autism, a Slice of Autism, Two Brothers One Journey, The Little Puddins Blog and more.
